When burning stars cover the night
As the hours too swiftly slip by
Our eyes are filled with starlight
And our hearts may hold the sky.
We will kiss under Cassiopeia
With Andromeda's eye overhead
Below the elegant wings of Cygnus
As Orion stands guard at our bed.
In our halcyon below constellations
The heavens cannot quite compare
With the moonlight that mirrors so softly
From your porcelain features so fair.
We have found our respective Elysium
Any words only get in the way
Our flesh is the same as we two turn to one
Beneath the celestial display.

I touched your face, found your eyes, smiled and whispered,
No-one lives here anymore.

Our bodies are prisons for our souls.
